    New principal at Northwest Rankin

    Students returned to Northwest Rankin High School Aug. 7 to see Ben Stein has taken over as the new principal.

    GENEVA LYNN TABOR RECEIVES DAR GOOD CITIZEN AWARD Geneva Lynn Tabor of Brandon High School received the DAR Good Citizen Award given each year by Chief Red Jacket Chapter, Mississippi State Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (MSSDAR). She was also the overall Rankin County winner. The award is given to the high school senior that has proven to be the most outstanding citizen in the class based on dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.
